Note: When installing a double roller timing chain and gears in an LS engine, the oil pump is spaced out from the block for clearance. In most applications, this will create a clearance issue between the timing cover and the oil pump. Test fit and make adjustments for needed clearance, before final assembly.

Note: 3 bolt camshaft required for proper installation and operation.

Note: To avoid modification to the factory timing cover, install #5496 from COMP Cams for extra clearance.
