SPEC Stage 2+ clutch kits are designed for street, drag race, drifting, road race, pulling, and autocross use. They feature a multi-friction disc in a full-faced configuration with carbon semi-metallic material on one side and Kevlar® on the other. Bridging the gap between SPEC Stage 2 and Stage 3 clutch kits, the 2+ offers drivability and engagement quality characteristics of the Stage 2, but with a 15 to 20 percent higher torque capacity. Hubs are double-sprung with spring cover reliefs for flexibility—and heat-treated components for strength and durability.

This clutch is for applications producing up to 715 ft/lbs of torque.

Note: This unit is a direct replacement for the factory clutch reusing the factory flywheel design.

Installation Notes:
Resurfacing of factory flywheel is highly suggested unless installing a new SPEC flywheel build to the correct specs for the factory flywheel. A minimum of 450 miles, primarily city driving with frequent stop and go situations, before full throttle engagement, drag launching or speed shifting. Failure to follow these steps will hinder the performance of the clutch and void the warranty. SPEC will not warrant any component failure due to installation errors.
