The damper was designed with an adapter plate that accepts the interchangeable crank pulleys available from Metco Motorsports. Metco Motorsports also offers a smaller diameter idler pulley that will allow for even bigger crank pulley sizes for increased boost.

Innovators West harmonic balancers are a great investment for your street or race vehicle. These dampers feature lightweight billet aluminum covers equipped with free-floating wet friction clutch pack assemblies that utilize spring-loaded inertia rings to dampen crankshaft harmonics over a wide rpm range. The rings work in conjunction with clutches to provide outstanding dampening action. That action does generate some heat, and Innovators West uses a small amount of fluid inside that acts as a lubricant, as well as dissipates heat to the outer body.

LSA Applications:

No idler pulley changes are necessary when using the 8.60" or 9.10" pulley rings. When using a 9.55” or larger ring in an LSA application, the crank idler pulley must be re-positioned for clearance using the Metco billet pulley mounting bracket under part number - MRB1000, which installs as a direct replacement for the original bracket, optimizing the position of both the factory crank idler pulley and supercharger idler pulley. To prevent additional belt slippage Metco suggests using their billet supercharger idler pulley, which offers extra durability, functionality, and cosmetic upgrade, this supercharger idler pulley is available under part number MIP-100V.

LSA Supercharger Belt Lengths:

• +2 lbs 8.60" Crank pulley ring and stock idler pulley: 67.5" belt
• +3 lbs 9.10" Crank pulley ring and stock idler pulley: 68.0" belt
• +4.5 lbs 9.55" Crank pulley ring, stock idler pulley and idler relocation bracket: 69.0" belt
• +5.5 lbs 10.00" Crank pulley ring, stock idler pulley and idler relocation bracket: 71.5" belt
• +6.5 lbs 10.50" Crank pulley ring, stock idler pulley and idler relocation bracket: 72.5" belt

Estimated Boost Increase (boost levels can vary with build applications):

• +2 lbs with 8.60"
• +3 lbs with 9.10"
• +4.5 lbs with 9.55"
• +5.5 lbs with 10.00"

Note: Requires Metco supercharger rings. The original crank pulley in LSA applications is approximately 8.0" in diameter. A pulley ring in this size is not available to fit the Innovators West balancer assembly. Estimated boost increase levels can vary with build applications.
