The lights can be mounted to the outer or inner factory location point. You can choose where you would like to optimize the lighting.

If you are looking for extra lighting other than the 2 lights that are part of this kit, you can add another kit and double the lighting! By adding an extra kit to the already bright set up with the 2 pods, you can add another set of pods that brings a total of 4 pods to your tailgate. Simply install the other set of pods and connect the wiring harness in series!
