Go from mild to wild at the push of a button! Convert your Roush Quad Tip exhaust to a full active exhaust, and take control of your exhaust note. This Active Exhaust upgrade kit makes any 2015-2023 Active Ready (aka “Passive) quad-tip exhaust system into an active exhaust. Using the available iOS app, you can adjust your Mustang’s exhaust note. This keeps your muscle car docile enough for pleasant company, and rowdy for when you’re blowing the doors off your competition.

The Roush Active Exhaust system features four modes: TOURING, SPORT, TRACK and CUSTOM.

• TOURING mode can be selected to close the exhaust tailpipe valves completely and keep the exhaust volume at its absolute minimum.
• SPORT mode allows the exhaust valves to open when the engine is idling and close during normal, non-aggressive driving. The valves open again when you step on it or drive at high speeds. These settings are pre-loaded to be more aggressive (louder) than stock but are still legal for street operation.
• TRACK mode is the loudest of the modes. This mode always keeps the Active Exhaust valves fully open when the engine is running and is typically used only on the track, as it is not legal for street operation.
• CUSTOM mode allows the operator to employ an iOS application and Wi-Fi module attached to the vehicle’s diagnostic port to personalize the exhaust sound for unique calibration. Through the application, the user gains full control over the position of the valves based on vehicle speed and accelerator position.

Note: This Roush Active Exhaust Upgrade Kit is designed to ONLY be used with 2015-2023 Premium Model Mustangs Equipped with the Roush Stainless Steel Quad Tip Active Ready (aka “Passive) Axle-Back Exhaust. This kit will NOT convert any other factory or OEM exhaust systems to be Active.
