These profiles are also easier on the valve springs, enhancing durability and reducing load loss. By Spintron® and dyno testing these profiles with many combinations of valve train components, Comp Cams® engineers have created valve train packages that are perfectly matched for maximum horsepower and dependability.

Note: For additional timing cover clearance, consider pairing this kit with the COMP Cams Front Timing Cover (#5496) so you do not have to modify The factory cover.

Note: Dyno results are with supporting modifications, such as LSXR Intake Manifold, 102mm Throttle Body, and Long Tube Headers and can vary with final tune.

Note: To use this cam in an L99 engine you will need the L99 to LS3 conversion kit to properly operate this cam in the L99 engine. A torque converter will also be necessary to prevent any surging once the cam is installed.
